Services WW Surveys provided:
- Design interrogation and verification
- Design interrogation and Construction of 6 multi span bridges using both precast and insitu methodologies
- Establishing and maintaining highly accurate civil and structural control networks
- Guidance and verification of over 60kms of concrete pavement
- General civil earthworks scopes including clearing within approved zones, drainage, bulk earthworks, pavement
- Quantifying design and asbuilt elements
- Assist sub-contractors with machine guidance equipmentCivil and structural high precision monitoring
Details of the project:
The Woolgoolga to Ballina Portion C – Main Civil Works Sections 7, 8 and 9 commences at the northern end of the Devils Pulpit Upgrade and extends to the north of the Township of Broadwater, where the works will ultimately tie into the new Richmond River Bridge.
Charactered as containing both brownfields areas (Section 7 – where the highway upgrade was constructed online with the existing Pacific Highway) and greenfields areas (Sections 8 and 9 – where the new Pacific Highway was constructed offline from the existing Pacific Highway Alignment), the works were constructed in a staged manner, ensuring that the functionality and level of service of the existing Pacific Highway and local road network is maintained for the duration of the Project.
